We met with Georgia and Sam Towle who moved into their four-bedroom Haxby home in July. Property manager Georgia, 28, and refrigeration engineer Sam, 30, live with their dog, Loki, and cat, Luna.
Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.
We previously lived in a small three-bedroom house and felt like we didn’t have enough space. Even the smallest room in our Haxby is bigger than the largest room in our old house, so it’s such a big change for us!
We wanted to be settled into our forever home before we decide to start a family, and our Haxby is the perfect home for that.
Our first house took a while to feel like home. But our Haxby felt lovely and like home from the moment we walked in. We wanted to make it ours and Beal have helped us to achieve that.
The garden is a really good size too; we have a few ideas of what we would like to do with it in the future!
What do you love most about being part of the community at Holderness Chase?
We only recently moved in but everyone we’ve met so far is lovely! We have a few family members and friends who live here or will be moving here, so it’s very familiar and welcoming.
Our neighbours introduced themselves straight away, which was lovely, and it has a really nice community feel.
There will be a park near our house too, which will be great when we start a family.
How did you find the service from Beal?
Amazing! We can’t fault it. Right from the beginning, when we met Beal Senior Sales Executive Laura Proctor, everyone was so helpful and patient.
We were kept informed, and the team we happy to answer all our questions about design. Everyone we’ve dealt with at Beal have gone above and beyond.
Beal’s Design Lounge team helped us design the kitchen, and nothing was too much trouble.
How did Beal help you through the buying process?
We part-exchanged our old house to enable us to buy our home at Holderness Chase and Beal made the whole process so easy. There was no stress – everything was seamless and we had great communication from the team from start to finish.
We were offered what we wanted for our house and we didn’t have any issues along the way.
How has the Beal team helped you create a home that perfectly matches your lifestyle and tastes?
We did our research and knew we definitely wanted a breakfast bar, a wine fridge, integrated bins, a utensil drawer, and even a pan drawer with a lid drawer inside. We added everything our previous kitchen was missing.
Our favourite feature is the pantry cupboard for the kettle, toaster, and mugs, keeping the worktops clear. We also have a cupboard for the ironing board and cleaning products. We added fitted wardrobes for our master bedroom, and designed the bathrooms to our taste.
Two of the bedrooms are en-suite; we opted for a beige tile and walnut features in the master en-suite, and a darker grey with walnut features in the guest en-suite. The bathroom is light and airy with cream tiles and oak features.
The team at Beal gave us excellent advice, and we’re delighted with the end result!
What would you say to other house hunters about buying a Beal home?
Go for it and make it your own! We’d recommend Beal to anyone. If we bought another house, we would definitely buy Beal. They are helpful, friendly, and experts in their field.
