We had a chat with Cesar and Hedani Lopez, who are thoroughly enjoying their Egton home at The Paddocks with their nine-year-old son, Sebastian.
Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.
We previously lived in a Beal home in Kingswood and were really happy with it, so that’s why we chose Beal again.
Our new Egton four-bedroom home is a dream come true and we keep pinching ourselves every day.
We love the layout and the space it provides. We fell in love with the plot, the location and being close to Hessle. It’s a very private, small community, which is great.
What are the best things about being part of the community at The Paddocks?
It’s quite a close-knit community and ideal for families like us.
The location attracted us because there’s going to be a playground opposite our house, so Sebastian will have a bigger garden and a playground where we can watch him play. That’s a lovely feeling to have when you live in a small, safe community without traffic passing through.
How did you find the service from Beal?
The service was superb from start to finish. From the Sales Executive and Independent Mortgage Expert, to the Selections Team and everyone in between. They make you feel like you want to buy a house every year!
The team were amazing and really patient. You can tell they all really enjoy what they do. There’s no rush to make your choices. It was key for us to have the time to think about it and they allowed us that.
How did Beal help you through the buying process?
It was very easy for us. Beal re-introduced us to the Independent Mortgage Advisor we knew from buying our previous Beal home.
We also used Beal’s Smooth Move service to help sell our previous home, which saved a lot of time and hassle, and we were then able to benefit from the Help to Buy scheme.
How have the Beal team helped you to make your home a perfect fit for your lifestyle and tastes?
They helped us to design our kitchen to our taste. They listened to everything we said and came up with the perfect layout – we were so impressed!
It was very important for us to be able to see the layout of an Egton property, so we had a good look around a similar house type on another development to get ideas, which was really helpful.
We also chose to have a garage conversion, so we could have an office downstairs.
What would you say to other house hunters about buying a Beal home?
If you are looking to buy your dream home, Beal is the housebuilder to go with.
It was so important for us to find a builder who creates homes of such high quality, as well as the possibility to change the internal layout, as that isn’t always available with other builders.
If we have to move to a third home in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Beal.
