We caught up with first-time buyers, Sareyah Mustafa, a PhD student, and her partner Callum Higgins, a postman, to find out about their home-buying experience.

The couple moved into their three-bedroom semi-detached Roxby home at our Thonock Vale development in Gainsborough earlier this year.

Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.

As soon as we walked into the Roxby, we knew it was the house for us.

We had looked at a few other housebuilders to see what was on the market, but everything else we viewed was either not very good value for money, didn’t have a good layout or had really small rooms.

We were about to give up when we heard about the Beal development in Gainsborough. We knew a few people who had bought a Beal home and they all had really positive experiences, so we decided to have a look.

During our visit the sales team told us that there was actually a house which was within our budget and was ready to move into straight away!

When we viewed the house, we immediately loved it and knew it had to be ours!

We love the layout as it’s really spacious and has loads of storage, and it also has a lovely garden. It also came with upgrades such as built-in wardrobes and appliances, which was a huge bonus!

What do you love most about being part of the community at Thonock Vale?

The community is lovely, all our neighbours are really friendly and everyone goes out of their way to help each other.

Gainsborough is a lovely town, it’s in a good central location and has great transport links to Sheffield and Lincoln.

It’s also a really nice walkable area and there is a great shopping area nearby.

Your home was part of our ‘Homes Ready Now’ range, so it was fully finished and ready to move in. Where you happy with the design?

We couldn’t have designed it better ourselves!

Every room has been so thoughtfully designed and the style is cohesive throughout.

One of my favourite rooms is the bathroom. It feels like a hotel! The tiles are lovely and everything has a luxe feel.

We also got lots of inspiration from the Beal show homes on how to arrange the soft furnishings too. They are so beautifully designed and gave us so many ideas of how to make the most out of the space and create a welcoming home.

How did Beal help you through the buying process?

Claire and Rachell, the sales executives, have been incredible. They are so friendly and welcoming.

When we first visited the house they gave us plenty of time to look around and didn’t pressure us.

From putting our reservation down through to completion, they offered so much support and guided us through the whole process.

We never had to chase them up for things, they were on top of everything and it only took about six weeks until we were able to move in!

We still go to them now for any advice or help, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The site team were also really helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything was perfect.

What would you say to other house hunters about buying a Beal home?

We recommend Beal all the way; you couldn’t ask for more from a housebuilder. Nothing is too much trouble, and the support is excellent. The quality of Beal’s homes is superior to any others we looked at. From the brickwork to the appliances, you can see the high quality in every detail.
