We caught up with Nick Mills and Lindsay Spaven, who recently moved into their “forever home” at St. John’s Fold.

Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.

“Our new home, a Levisham II, is a great size with plenty of room. Our retired parents live over an hour away from us and they can now visit and stay for the night, so we can have more family time.”

What are the best things about being part of the community at St John’s Fold?

“It’s a lovely friendly community. The location is spot on. We’re five minutes from Beverley Minster and you can walk into the town centre.”

How did you find the service from Beal?

“The team at Beal were able to answer our questions and dealt with any queries quickly. They were very good at tailoring the house to how we wanted it.

“It was as close to perfect as it could be for us. We weren’t passed from pillar to post – Beal were very helpful and approachable.”

“We were shown so many examples of what we could do with the kitchen, colours, cupboards and sizes at our selection meeting. The opportunity to move light switches, sockets and radiators was great too.

“The big thing for us was to select wardrobes upstairs exactly where we wanted them, and we chose to have an extension built.

“Beal were happy to revise the plans until we were happy. There was no pressure and they were really flexible. We didn’t feel rushed and they were so willing to help.”

What would you say to other house hunters about buying a Beal home?

“Beal’s home designs are perfect. You can make your home bespoke and that was a big attraction for us.
