Beal comes home to Holderness for latest luxury development

Bespoke housebuilder Beal Homes is returning to its roots for its latest exclusive development.

Family-owned Beal has announced Holderness Chase, a select development of 64 new two, three and four bedroom homes in the popular East Yorkshire village of Preston, east of Hull.

The £14.5m development will mark a return for Beal to its beginnings in Holderness, where the business was founded 53 years ago and where it delivered its very first project, building two shops and a house, in nearby Hedon.

The location, off Sproatley Road, offers househunters the appeal of village life in a semi-rural location, while also enjoying rapid access to Hull and beyond via the A63.

The development will feature Beal’s most popular house types and appeal to a wide range of househunters, from first-time buyers to families and downsizers. With Preston being just a 15-minute drive from the centre of Hull, the development will also be attractive for professionals looking for peace and tranquility but within easy reach of the city.

Beal buyers also benefit from the unique opportunity the East Yorkshire-based housebuilder offers to every customer to completely personalise the layout and features of their new home, working with Beal’s design experts to ensure it suits their lifestyle and tastes perfectly.

Beal is expected to launch Holderness Chase in the New Year, with construction due to begin in spring 2022 and the first residents likely to move in by the end of the year.

Sue Waudby, Beal Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to be returning to our roots in the Holderness area for a new development for the first time in many years.

“This is a very exciting development in a highly-attractive location. It offers the appeal of village life, in a setting surrounded by countryside, while being close to Hull, with excellent road links to the city and beyond.

“For all these reasons, we expect Holderness Chase to be exceptionally popular, so we would urge people to register their interest as soon as possible to ensure they are the first to be informed of the sales launch.”

Dating back to before the Domesday Book, the village of Preston is clustered around historic All Saints Church.

Holderness Chase is to the east of Preston and is just a short stroll from two pubs, shops and other facilities in the heart of the village. It is also just a short walk to Preston Primary School and Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College.

Beal Land Director Chris Murphy said: “With the Beal family’s roots in Holderness, we’re excited to be moving forward with a development on the company’s home patch.

“We have a very strong track record of successful developments in Holderness, going back more than half a century, but this will be our first in the area for over 15 years.

“We have a strong pipeline of land in desirable locations, which enables us to bring forward developments such as these to meet the strong need and demand for high-quality new homes in popular communities like Preston.”
