Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.

I’ve bought a three bedroom Dalby home with a south west-facing garden. I love it because I had the ability to select everything.

I’ve bought new houses before but I’ve never been able to personalise it completely. The range and choice available and the knowledge of the Beal team was fantastic.

What are the best things about being part of the community at St John’s Fold?

St. John’s Fold is a fairly small development. It’s a friendly community with a really good range of houses, which makes it a fabulous place to live. The streets are all cul-de-sacs, so you haven’t got through traffic, and it has a really nice ambience.

Aesthetically, the houses are all slightly different and there isn’t the uniformity you see in other new developments.

The location also has easy access to Hull, York and Leeds.

How did you find the service from Beal?

Nothing was too much trouble. I was always kept updated with progress and the team got back to me straight away when I had questions.

I wanted a breakfast bar in the kitchen, which the expert team at Beal helped design. I picked wardrobes for my dressing room and I was able to make sure the sockets were in the right place. I chose an induction hob for the kitchen and some beautiful floor tiles in the hallway that look stunning!

Everything was planned around my furniture and it was all an amazing experience.

I feel my house is a lovely environment to live, work and play and it is set up to give me versatility when I work from home.

What would you say to other househunters about buying a Beal home?

I’ve bought new homes before and this is the best experience I’ve ever had in terms of having that personal involvement in every detail and really being able to put my stamp on it.

In my experience, you have a limited range with other housebuilders. But Beal gives you much more flexibility. There’s a huge range of standard choices, so you don’t have to upgrade everything, but you can make it very much your own.

I would definitely recommend Beal to other house buyers. Beal is a local company, which employs local people and uses local suppliers. There is something very attractive and important about that as I am keen to support my local economy where I can.
