Our Home Demonstrator Tessa Stork experienced our unique, personalised service first hand after buying a three bedroom Dalby on our popular Kings Vale development at Kingswood Parks in Hull.

Along with her partner Oliver Hayton, a graphic designer, Tessa went through the bespoke house buying process like every other Beal customer, receiving weekly progress calls on the build and customising their home in our Design Lounge.

Before moving into their new home, the couple were renting at Kings Vale through our sister company Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Developments, which cemented their desire to continue living there.

Tessa and Oliver, who are first-time buyers and used the Government’s Help to buy scheme to purchase their house, said they loved seeing their vision for their dream home become a reality.

Tessa said: “I have the lovely job of revealing homes to Beal buyers, showing them how everything works and making sure they’re comfortable in their new surroundings.

“Every house is completely different and everyone gets so excited – it’s so nice to see. So for us to go through the same process as Beal customers felt amazing!

“We reserved our plot in January when it was at foundation level and the sales team continued to ring me as a customer throughout the process, even though I have regular contact with them in my day-to-day work.

“The service was amazing and we loved the design lounge experience. Beal went through every detail of our home, room by room.”

Tessa and Oliver upgraded various elements of their home to suit their lifestyle and tastes.

Tessa said: “We added a breakfast bar and designer radiators to enhance the kitchen as well as removing a door into the utility room. We also added fitted wardrobes to the bedrooms and upgraded the carpets throughout.

“We really feel like we’ve designed our home from scratch. We’ve loved going through this unique experience and having the opportunity to express our own ideas. We’re so excited and it’s definitely our dream first home.”
