Our St Mary’s View development in Beverley is in a prime position, close to Beverley Westwood and just a short stroll to the town’s charming centre. This desirable development has just five homes remaining!

We met with St Mary’s View buyers Sandra Daniel, a civil servant, and John Moran, a retired telephone engineer. They moved into their four-bedroom Hilton home in January after relocating from Leeds.

Tell us about your Beal home and why you love it so much.

After Leeds we were looking for a slower pace of life and we’ve got that in Beverley.

With it’s location, size and mixture of house styles, St Mary’s View is a truly lovely development with a village feel.

We love everything about our home, from its L-shape design and integrated garage to the colour scheme, space and light.

Our garden faces south and the sunlight streams through the kitchen and lounge.

As we chose our home and plot off-plan, we didn’t know what our view would be like. So, it was a pleasant surprise to discover we have a lovely view of Beverley Westwood!

What do you love most about being part of the community at St Mary’s View?

This is such a nice and peaceful location, and everyone we’ve met here has been so friendly. The development is just the right size for us.

It’s brilliant that we can walk into Beverley in just 20 minutes and driving to the retail parks on the outskirts of Hull is straightforward.

We enjoy walking on the Westwood and it’s great that, from here, we have easy access to the Wolds and the coast.

How did you find the service from Beal?

Excellent! The Design Lounge team were fantastic in helping us make our choices. We were there all day and even returned for a second visit and we never felt it was an inconvenience.

The team were patient and supportive, which is important when you’re making big decisions, and they really helped bring our ideas to life.

We’re impressed with the build quality throughout. Beal’s on site construction team are brilliant.

How did Beal help you through the buying process?

We were kept informed every step of the way and the team answered all our questions. We were supported throughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was really helpful and approachable throughout.

How have the Beal team helped you to make your home a perfect fit for your lifestyle and tastes?

Our kitchen is exactly how we wanted it. We gave Beal a sketch of our idea and they brought it to life. The back wall has floor-to-ceiling units that include our integrated fridge, freezer, oven and microwave, with plenty of storage both above and below.

The work surface was extended to accommodate a larger hob and open shelves for our cookery books and ornaments.

Beal’s kitchen fitters have done a stunning, faultless job and it looks incredible. When we saw it for the first time, our jaws dropped. It’s perfect for us.

What would you say to other househunters about buying a Beal home?

Go for it! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Beal. We’ve been delighted with the process, from start to finish.
