Girls football team all set for new season as Beal sponsors kit

A teenage girls football team is heading into the latest season in a brand new kit, courtesy of family-run housebuilder Beal Homes.

The business has sponsored a reversible home and away kit for Hessle Sporting Ravens Under 15s, as well as tracksuit tops for all 16 players and polo shorts and gilets for manager Steve Fox and assistant manager Nigel Sanderson.

The volunteer-run team trains weekly at Kings George V Playing Fields in Hessle, East Yorkshire, competes in the East Riding Girls Football League and plays home games at Haltemprice Leisure Centre in Anlaby.

Beal has its popular Pilgrim’s Walk development in Hessle, offering a collection of three and four bedroom homes and three bedroom bungalows.

Steve, whose 13-year-old daughter Eliza is team captain, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have the backing of Beal Homes and the parents and girls are all thrilled to have secured such a good sponsor.

“The kit looks brilliant and having this support has helped us out massively. It’s great for the local community to see a prominent local businesses backing grassroots football and the girls can’t wait for next season.”

Steve said the team is enjoying playing regularly again following disruption caused by the pandemic.

He said: “We were a little bit stop start because of Covid, so consistency has been a challenge. The team are really enjoying being back into a routine and cracking on. We all look the part now thanks to Beal!”

Focused on building homes in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Beal is committed to the region for the long term, including supporting local communities.
