Gainsborough Trinity FC signs up Beal Homes in sponsorship deal

Gainsborough Trinity Football Club has signed up Beal Homes as a new primary sponsor. The sponsorship deal, worth a four figure sum this season, will help the Vanarama National league North club to keep and maintain football in the local community, according to club chairman Richard Kane.

The family-owned business has been building in East Yorkshire for over 48 years, with more than ten years in Lincolnshire, including completed developments in Wragby, Branston and Nettleham, as well as ongoing and future developments in Burton Waters, Waddington, Gainsborough and Welton. Beal Homes has a history of supporting community sport and is also the main sponsor of Hull RUFC.

Commenting on the sponsorship commitment Beal’s MD Richard Beal said, “Following the success of our development The Swale we hope to be building much needed new homes in Gainsborough for some time to come and welcome this opportunity to become more involved in the local community. Gainsborough Trinity is a great ambassador for the town and we are pleased to be able to help further the club’s ambitions.”

Gainsborough Trinity’s Richard Kane said, “The club is keen to secure additional sponsors and is delighted to have recruited Beal Homes, which is well established name in Gainsborough and the additional revenue will assist in keeping the Club financially stable.”

The new funding from Beal Homes will help towards the club’s plans for a new irrigation system and to keep the ground up to date and in good condition, he said.

The connection between Beal Homes and Gainsborough Trinity came as good news to one of Beal’s site managers Steve Murphy. Steve has been a lifelong supporter of the club.

Beal Homes is building homes at The Swale on Corringham Road in Gainsborough and has plans to extend the development significantly subject to planning. Of an initial 36 homes Beal Homes is building at The Swale, 26 are already sold and the first homebuyers started to move in this February. Beal Homes has applied to the local authority for approval for more homes on land at the rear of the current development.

To the east of Lincoln, Beal’s Wragby development sold out earlier this year, with The Quays at Burton Waters Marina nearing completion – only two plots are now available.
