In a study of over 1,000 consumers from Rightmove’s research panel, the findings revealed that relationships with neighbours, the upkeep of the area, and local parks are key indicators for buyers when purchasing a new home. - Save homeowners an average of £979 a year on heating, hot water and lighting costs. This represents a saving of more than 50% compared to older houses.
- Reduce water usage, making the average annual bill 27% cheaper.
- Emit 65% less carbon per year—only 1.22 tonnes compared to 3.51 tonnes from older properties.
In addition, an impressive 86% of new-build properties achieve an A or B Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, compared to less than 5% of older homes. At Beal, 100% of our properties reach this high standard.
