A Beal Homes manager is forging his career and planning his new home with the family-owned housebuilder.
Harry Fawcett joined the Beal team almost 10 years ago as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and has climbed both the career and property ladders thanks to the support of his Beal colleagues.
During his time with us, Harry his gained hands-on experience while also studying for and completing his undergraduate degree in Building Surveying.
Beal has supported Harry throughout this journey and has now enabled him to take his first steps into management as our Technical Manager.
Meanwhile, Harry and his husband Tom, who works for the Ambulance Service, have now secured a luxury home at our prestigious Ferriby Meadows development in the sought-after East Yorkshire village of North Ferriby.
The couple, who tied the knot just a month ago, currently live in Beverley and are excited to be planning their life together in what they see as their forever home.
Harry said: “Ferriby Meadows is not your average new-build development. Beal’s homes are always a cut above the rest and Ferriby Meadows in particular has been designed to seamlessly blend into North Ferriby, which is such a lovely and picturesque village.
“We love that, with Beal, it feels like we’re building our own house. There are so many options available, so we’ve really been able to personalise it and make it our own, and we’ve been kept informed every step of the way. Buying a Beal Home at Ferriby Meadows was a no brainer for us.”

Launched just nine months ago, Ferriby Meadows has proven to be hugely popular, with 50 homes already sold. The development is located off Ferriby High Road, just a short walk from the heart of North Ferriby village and its facilities, including a popular pub, shops and health services.
Construction work on the luxury development is well underway with the Sales Office and Show Home due to open in October.
Harry and Tom have reserved a four-bedroom Haxby and Harry said: “The Haxby has always been one of my favourite house types. It’s open plan and really spacious and has great kerb appeal.
“It has two ensuites and a master bathroom upstairs, as well as a downstairs w/c, which is perfect for us, as we often have guests.”
As with all Beal buyers, Harry and Tom enjoyed a day in Beal’s state-of-the-art Design Lounge, working with the housebuilder’s expert designers to bring their vision for their home to life.
Harry said: “I always know exactly what I want, so I already had a clear picture in mind of the colours and styles I wanted. Beal offers so much choice that it made bringing Tom and I’s ideas to life so easy.
“We wanted to create a modern, countryside feel, so we’ve chosen a neutral colour palette with lots of taupe and marble countertops. There’s so much selection in the standard range but it’s also nice to have the upgrade options if you do want them, and we chose to upgrade to brass hardware and opted for a log burner too.
“The Selections team were so helpful and knowledgeable. We described our vision and they knew exactly what options would complement our ideas.”

Fellow Ferriby Meadows home buyers and prospective house hunters have recently had a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes at the prestigious development and take a walking tour of the site as it takes shape.
It was the second of two Open Events we have held at the site, giving customers the opportunity to envisage their future in this picturesque location.
