We are currently looking for a dedicated Trainee Purchase Ledger to work directly alongside the Purchase Ledger Manager with further opportunities to expand a career within the department. All training will be provided, so previous experience not essential but must demonstrate academic grades suitable for the role.
Beal Homes are a private, family-owned residential housebuilder operating across East Yorkshire & Northern Lincolnshire. Having moved to a new, £5M purpose-built office in Hessle, the company is primed for future growth and is now looking to add to an already established Finance Team.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager and working alongside others within the team, your duties will include:
- Inputting purchase invoices and assisting the existing purchase ledger function with their duties.
- Utilising the company’s Sage 200 accounting system and Therefore paperless software to generate periodic reporting and control.
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements, maintenance of credit limits and supplier accounts.
- Liaising with the Site Team, Sub-contractors and Suppliers to resolve issues.
- Other general ad hoc duties as required.
