Beal Homes has underpinned its reputation for outstanding customer service by receiving a highly sought-after industry accolade for the fourth consecutive year.
The independent housebuilder has once again secured the Home Builders Federation (HBF) five-star customer satisfaction rating.
The accolade from the HBF – the trade association representing housebuilders in England and Wales – reaffirms Beal’s commitment to delivering exceptional standards of customer service.
The rating comes from impartial feedback gathered from homebuyers about their satisfaction levels. It also incorporates a detailed national survey conducted by the National House Building Council (NHBC), which assesses housebuilders on a one to five-star scale.
Beal has secured the top rating in 2021 – the first year it took part in the scheme – 2022, 2023 and now 2024, reflecting the housebuilder’s consistent delivery of customer service excellence.
This year, Beal is one of only three Yorkshire-based housebuilders to be awarded five-star status and the only family-owned company in the region to achieve the top rating.
Richard Beal, Chief Executive of East Yorkshire-based Beal, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have secured this prestigious customer service accolade for the fourth successive year.
“It’s especially satisfying because it’s based directly on feedback gathered independently from our buyers – the people who matter most.
“We’ve always put Beal buyers at the heart of everything we do and we always will. This latest five-star rating recognises that unwavering commitment and is testament to the contribution of the whole Beal team to delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.”
The latest HBF ratings are based on feedback from homebuyers who completed their moves between October 2022 and September 2023.
Beal’s top rating in part reflects buyers’ experience of the housebuilder’s acclaimed Design Lounge service. Every Beal buyer has the opportunity to completely customise their new home, working with the family-owned housebuilder’s expert designers to make it a perfect fit for their lifestyle and tastes.
Retired couple Barry and Christine White moved into their four-bedroom Haxby home at Beal’s West Hill II development, in Kirk Ella, East Yorkshire, in September 2023.
Barry said: “Beal provided excellent service from the start. They were informative and supportive throughout the buying process.”
Christine added: “Their understanding and assistance made moving to our new home much smoother than we expected.”
Sandra Daniel and John Moran moved into their four-bedroom Hilton home at Beal’s St Mary’s View development in Beverley, East Yorkshire, last month.
Civil servant Sandra said: “The service from Beal was excellent. The team were patient and supportive, which is important when you’re making big decisions, and they really helped bring our ideas to life.”
John, a retired telephone engineer, said: “We were supported throughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was really helpful and approachable.”
Beal is currently delivering luxury homes at a series of prestigious developments in East Yorkshire – West Hill II in Kirk Ella; St Mary’s View in Beverley; Turpin’s Chase in Welton; Holderness Chase in Preston; and the housebuilder’s largest ever single development, The Greenways in Goole – as well as the King’s Fold development at Kingswood Parks in Hull.
In Lincolnshire, Beal is delivering the Bishop’s Green development in Welton, near Lincoln, and Thonock Vale in Gainsborough.
In addition, further Beal developments are coming soon to North Ferriby, East Yorkshire, and Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.
