Prestige housebuilder Beal Homes has yet again been hailed as Yorkshire’s best housebuilder at a glittering gathering of the region’s residential property industry.
The family-owned housebuilder scooped the Best Residential Developer award at The Yorkshires Residential Real Estate Awards 2026 in front of almost 550 Yorkshire residential property professionals.
The award is the latest in a host of regional and industry accolades for East Yorkshire-based Beal. It’s the second time Beal has been named Best Residential Developer in the Residential Real Estate Awards, and the seventh time Beal has won an award as the best housebuilder in Yorkshire over the past 10 years.
The Yorkshires Residential Real Estate Awards are staged by the Yorkshire Children’s Charity to celebrate excellence in the housebuilding industry across the county. This year’s event was held at Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, hosted by actor, comedian and author Dominic Holland, and raised £141,000 for Yorkshire Children’s Charity.

The Best Residential Developer award recognises developers who demonstrate excellence and innovation across a wide range of factors, including construction methods and delivery, customer experience, community engagement and business performance.
Beal Homes Chief Executive Richard Beal said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised in these prestigious awards, at an event which raised so much money for such a great charity.
“As a proudly family owned and managed business, we understand we have a responsibility that extends far beyond the homes we build and we’re committed to investing in the communities in which we work and the people who make Beal the award-winning business it is.
“This award is a tribute to our brilliant team and also recognises the contribution of our valued partners, contractors and suppliers.
“Above all, our achievements could not be possible without the support and loyalty of all our Beal buyers – they are at the very heart of everything we do.”

Beal has established an outstanding reputation for high-quality homes, exceptional developments, an unrivalled bespoke home design service, remarkable customer experience and supporting the community.
What makes Beal stand out from other housebuilders is that every home built is designed around the people who will live in it. No two buyers are the same, so no two Beal homes are either.
The winning entry highlighted how Beal buyers enjoy an extraordinary level of customisation, working with designers in Beal’s Design Lounge to personalise their home. Buyers have the opportunity to move walls to alter the internal layout, benefit from a bespoke kitchen design service and select from a high-quality range of fixtures, fittings and finishes.
All of Beal’s developments are carefully designed and built to create desirable and aspirational new communities that enhance the local landscape. Beal has resolutely refused to compromise on build quality, with its homes standing out both internally and externally, boasting exceptional kerb appeal and luxurious interiors.
The housebuilder is a major supporter of a number of charities including the RNLI, Yorkshire Children’s Charity, CatZero and Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity, as well as community organisations, including Hull Rugby Union Football Club.
Not only does Beal invest in the communities in which it builds, but it also invests in its people, supporting apprenticeships and graduate recruitment, and the personal and professional development of employees.
Beal was named as Best Residential Developer from a shortlist which also included Keepmoat, Kyme Homes and Vistry.
Beal was also a finalist in two other categories – the Excellence in Design Award for its industry-leading Design Lounge and Best Large Development (Over 50 units) for the Ferriby Meadows development in North Ferriby, East Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity works to make things better for children and young people living at a disadvantage by running various programmes designed to enhance all aspects of children’s lives, ranging from large-scale building projects to simple yet special days out.
The events it runs, such as The Yorkshires Residential Real Estate Awards, are a vital way of raising funds and enabling the charity to continue its work.
