We’re delighted to have helped the ‘Easter Bunny’ spread some magic this Spring, by delivering hundreds of Easter Eggs to children in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

At Beal, we’re committed to not only building homes, but building stronger communities, and making this Easter donation is just one of the ways we give back to areas in which it works.

Our colleagues recently visited Chiltern Primary School in Hull and Castle Wood Academy in Gainsborough to deliver over 630 sweet treats, adding a touch of joy to the lives of youngsters in local communities.

In Hull, we teamed up with Yorkshire Children’s Charity to make the donation as part of the charity’s annual Easter campaign, which sees thousands of Easter eggs delivered to children across Yorkshire.

We’ve supported the appeal for the past four years and this year provided 437 eggs, enough for each child at Chiltern Primary School to receive an Easter treat.

Charlotte Farrington, CEO and founder of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said: “While we primarily focus our energy and resources on funding essential items, we understand how important it is for children to feel included in other celebrations throughout the year.

“An Easter egg is something many children take for granted, but for families living in difficult circumstances this is just yet another luxury that feels out of reach.

“Our Easter appeal is only made possible through the kindness and dedication of our supporters. Thanks to the amazing team at Beal Homes, Easter eggs have been provided for hundreds of children, spreading smiles across Hull.”

In Gainsborough, North Lincolnshire, we donated 200 Easter Eggs to Castle Wood Academy, which neighbours our popular Thonock Vale development.

Our Selections Design Consultant, Tessa Stork said: “It was really rewarding to hand over the Easter Eggs to the children and see their faces light up with excitement.

“We know some of these children may not receive an Easter Egg, so it was fantastic to be able to spread some joy, and support the local community.”
