Join Beal Homes at Hessle Feast

Hessle Feast takes place on Sunday, July 12, this year so why not pop along to soak up the atmosphere and pay Beal Homes’ stand a visit to find out all about the East Yorkshire house builder’s latest developments and support Humber Rescue at the same time.

With its origins back in the 1800s, the Feast was resurrected around 16 years ago. Today it is a free Hessle community event with local music, arts and food. Taking place between 12 noon and 6pm at The Square, Hessle, there will be plenty to see and do.

“It should be a great event for all,” says Beal Homes’ Emily Douglas, “and, especially as Beal Homes is now based in Hessle, we are delighted to be taking part. We’ll be there alongside Humber Rescue, one of our two chosen charities for this year.”

Beal Homes will be handing out goodie bags in exchange for a donation to Humber Rescue and you will be able to pick up new home brochures for developments at Kingswood Parks and register your interest in homes planned in Etton and Willerby.

Humber Rescue will have its rescue boat on display at the Feast. An independent charity, Humber Rescue is responsible for the provision of a fast-response rescue boat on the rivers of the Humber Estuary. The team of volunteers provide around the clock rescue service for incidents over 540 square miles of the region’s rivers, including the Trent, Ouse, Hull and Humber.

The service is entirely dependent on donations from the public, fund raising events and the generosity of local businesses. Funds raised by Beal Homes during 2015 will go towards boathouse and boat maintenance, which costs about £60K a year, and fuel for the boat which responds to an average of 100 call outs a year using £100 to £200 of fuel each time.

Beal Homes moved to new headquarters with a new Customer Selection Studio at Hessle in January 2014 not far from Humber Rescue’s base and boathouse on the Humber foreshore beneath the Bridge’s north tower. Now Beal Homes has pledged to help by raising money for the charity from events and collection boxes in its marketing suites.
