Job Description:

We require an Experienced Site Plumbing and Heating Engineer for work on quality new homes on a continuous basis..

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out 1st, 2nd and 3rd fix plumbing.
• Install boilers and central heating systems.
• Install bathrooms
• Install appliances such as hobs, dishwashers etc.
• Fit guttering and fall pipes.
• Ability to do lead work would be preferred but not essential
• SVP drain tests
• Remedial works such as identifying and repairing leaks, replacing defective items, attending to customer heating issues etc.
• Available on-call on a rota basis for emergency plumber works (Approximately one week out of seven)

Personal Requirements:

• Must be fully conversant with housbuilding operations and current NHBC building regulations.
• Able to read technical drawings and plans.
• Relevant trade qualifications (i.e NVQ, City and Guilds)
• Current domestic gas qualification (i.e Gas Safe)
• A valid CSCS card
• A valid drivers licence
• A valid CIS card
• Reasonable written and numerical skills
• Able to supply own 110v tools
• Awareness of Health and Safety
• Must be able to work independently

• Salary operates on a price work basis

This role is 39 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and 8am to 3:30pm on a Friday. You will also be required to go on the 7 week rota for out of hours call outs.
