We’re recognising the region’s green business champions

Press Releases

Working with our partners at Wykeland Group, we’re driving forward the exciting transformation of Hull’s Fruit Market.

The regeneration of the Fruit Market has sustainability at its core and has given the once near-derelict waterfront area new life as Hull’s first urban village.

As the Wykeland Beal joint venture we have worked in partnership with Hull City Council to reinvent the Fruit Market as a commercial, creative, cultural and residential district.

A vital part of the Fruit Market’s rejuvenation is our development of 105 mews-style homes amid the characterful area’s restored warehouses and cobbled streets.

The residential development blends traditional and contemporary styles to create a highly attractive and desirable community of spacious, energy-efficient homes that support sustainable city living.

Wykeland Beal is supporting the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards 2020 as sponsor of the Environmental and Sustainability category.

Beal Chief Executive Richard Beal said: “Our support for the Environmental and Sustainability Award reflects our commitment to sustainable development, in the Fruit Market and across all our activities, and to creating new residential communities that enhance the natural environment.

“This award offers an opportunity to recognise and applaud the green champions within the region’s business community.”
