Show home opens as first residents prepare to move in at Turpin's Heath
Our new show home is now open!
We've launched a new show home at our fast-selling development in East Yorkshire.
The opening of the show home at Turpin’s Heath in Welton, East Yorkshire, comes as the first residents prepare to move into a development that is proving hugely popular.
The show home is a Thornton, one of our most popular house types, and dozens of prospective buyers attended a launch event to view the showpiece property.
Our Sales and Marketing Director Sue Waudby said: “We’re delighted to open the show home and to be able to showcase the very best that Turpin’s Heath offers.
“Visitors to the launch really loved the show home and its features and fittings. We were also able to show many of the visitors some of the other completed properties and give them a flavour of how the community is developing.
“They were really impressed by the quality and variety of the properties as well as the attractive setting of the development and how it integrates really nicely into the local area.”
The Thornton show home is a four bedroom detached property with impressive central hallway, a contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining area with sun room, French doors leading to rear garden and separate utility, lounge with double doors and feature bay window, and master bedroom with en-suite and gallery landing.
We've already sold 47 of the 71 properties at Turpin’s Heath and the first buyers are due to move in this month.
Mrs Waudby added: “Turpin’s Heath is proving to be very popular indeed, as shown by well over half of the properties being sold in advance of the show home opening.
“Buyers so far are mostly local people from within a 10-mile radius. The quality of the local schools – Welton Primary and South Hunsley Secondary – is a big draw, especially as they are both in easy walking distance.
“The location also couldn’t be better for commuting into Hull or to Leeds and York, via the A63.”
Turpin’s Heath features 71 contemporary three and four bedroom family homes and a choice of 12 different house types. Every property is designed for modern life, boasting open, spacious, contemporary living areas.
Prices range from £254,995 for The Hackness, a luxury three bedroom detached home with hallway and open plan kitchen/family room with French doors leading to the garden. Turpin’s Heath features a fully landscaped area of green open space forming almost a quarter of the site, including a children’s play area. The 8.5 acre development takes its name from Welton’s greatest historical claim to fame, as the place where legendary highwayman Dick Turpin was captured.
