Our Help to Buy event helps house hunters secure a new home at The Swale
Don't miss our Help to Buy event on Thursday, November 23, 3.30pm - 8pm!
We are very excited to host a Help to Buy event to launch the latest wave of new homes at our hugely-popular The Swale development in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
Prospective buyers will have the opportunity to buy homes off-plan as a further 12 properties are released at the established development.
The Help to Buy event is on Thursday, November 23, with one, two, three and four bedroom homes available.
Mortgage advisers will be on hand to assist property seekers looking to take advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which makes it possible to buy one of our new homes with just a 5% deposit.
The scheme is available to all new home buyers, not just first-time buyers, and enables purchasers to access a Government equity loan of up to 20% of the value of the property which can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the home.
Sue Waudby, our Sales and Marketing Director, said: “The Swale is a very popular and picturesque development in a fantastic location. We sold six of the 12 newly-released properties on the day of release, so demand is exceptionally high.
“Our Help to Buy event is a fabulous opportunity for people to find out more about buying a new home with just 5% deposit. Our experts will be at the event to offer advice to buyers looking to either buy their first home or move up the property ladder.
“We have some great properties available at The Swale, many of which overlook a lovely area of green open space, with our usual array of high-quality extras as standard. I highly recommend house hunters come along to the event to secure one of our latest properties at this sought-after development before it’s too late!”
Property seekers can choose from a range of new releases, including the Thornton with four bedrooms, a sun room and walled garden, priced at £239,995; the Appleby, a two bedroom coach house with garage and upgraded view home package priced at £129,995; and the Tribeca, a two bedroom home ideal for first time buyers priced at £118,995.
Buyers at The Swale can also benefit from considerable savings on utility bills and energy costs as all Beal properties achieve Level B Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings for energy efficiency.
A new report by the Home Builders Federation reveals that a new-build home with the top A or B energy performance rating can save a home owner £629 a year on energy bills compared to an owner of an existing home.
John Goodfellow, our Construction Director, said: “Sustainability and energy efficiency is a huge priority for us at Beal. We also realise that people are increasingly keen to minimise their own environmental impact as well as reduce their household energy bills.
“This report illustrates the substantial and ongoing savings to be gained by the buyers of our energy-efficient new homes, such as those at The Swale.”
The development is a short drive from Gainsborough’s bustling town centre, home to leading retailers such as M&S, Laura Ashley and Browns department store within Marshall’s Yard, and also close to the famous 18-hole golf course with its state-of-the-art Ping European Custom Fitting Centre and Academy.
Every home at The Swale is designed for modern life, boasting open, contemporary living spaces together with the unique opportunity for every buyer to personalise their homes to suit their lifestyle and budget.
Our innovative house-buying experience allows purchasers to customise every aspect of their new home to suit their personal tastes – even the internal layout – with many additional luxuries included as standard.
The Help to Buy event is on Thursday, November 23, from 3.30pm to 8pm, and will be held at The Swale Marketing Suite, Corringham Road, Gainsborough, DN21 1EQ.
